How big is the Camera’s internal storage?
- The only storage option available is a microSD card. Without it, the camera won’t be able to work normally. You can use cards with up to 128GB of storage.
How many minutes worth of 4K videos can I record on a 16GB microSD card?
- 1 minute of 4K video shot at the speed of 40Mbps takes about 300MB of storage. You’ll be able to record about 50 minutes on a 16GB card.
Why do both status indicators start flashing after I insert a microSD card and press the OK button?
- This might happen if the microSD card you’re using is incompatible with the camera. Check the list of the recommended microSD cards.
Why do both status indicators start flashing while I’m using the camera?
- This might happen due to a microSD card error. The card may be full, poorly formatted, unmounted, corrupted, or busy.
- Format your microSD card and insert it again. If this doesn’t help, replace the card.
Why does a red video status indicator flashes fast and then slows down while I’m recording a video?
- Some sectors of your microSD card may slow down the recording
process. When this happens, the recording will stop and resume after the slow
sector is full. If it happens frequently, format or replace your microSD card.
What should I do if both status indicators
start flashing when I connect a power adapter?
- Disconnect the adapter and connect it again. If this doesn’t help,
replace the adapter.
Why was the video I had recorded deleted?
- You probably turned on loop recording. After the card is full, it allows
to overwrite old videos to save the new ones. Turn this feature off, if you
don’t want this to happen.
What type of the USB port does Camera support?
Can I use other USB cables to charge the camera?
- There are lots of USB cables available on the market. However, some of them may damage your camera. We recommend using the supplied USB cable.
Why can’t the camera record videos or take photos when it’s connected to a computer via USB?
- Computers will recognize your camera as a storage device. You can view, transfer, and delete files while your camera is connected to a computer.
What phone should I have to install the camera app?
- Your phone should run Android 5.0 or later.
- If you’re using an iPhone, iOS 9 or later should be installed.
How do I update the camera’s firmware?
- Connect to the camera using the app on your phone. The app will check for firmware updates automatically and notify you if any are available.
Why can’t I connect to Wi-Fi?
- Download the latest version of the Camera app.
- Check if the camera’s Wi-Fi is on. The Wi-Fi indicator should be flashing blue.
- Check in the app if you’ve connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Make sure the Wi-Fi password you’ve entered in the app is correct. The default password is 12345678.
- Make sure no other phones are connected to the camera. You can connect one device at a time.
- Make sure your phone is within 50 meters away from your camera.
- If you still can’t connect, close the app, reboot the camera, and try to connect again.
Why does the Wi-Fi indicator start flashing blue while I’m Using the camera?
- The camera has disconnected from your phone, connect again.
What is the maximum distance I can control the camera from using the app?
- About 50 meters if you’re outdoors. The actual distance may vary depending on your phone’s Wi-Fi connectivity specs.
How fast can I transfer files from the camera using Wi-Fi?
- The transfer speed is up to 30Mbps. The actual speed may vary depending on your phone’s Wi-Fi connectivity specs.
How do I reset Wi-Fi?
- When Wi-Fi is on, press and hold the camera’s Wi-Fi button for 5 seconds until you hear the buzzer and the Wi-Fi indicator starts flashing. The password will be set to the default 12345678 again.
Can I connect to the internet on my phone when it’s connected to the camera?
- Your phone’s Wi-Fi channel is used for the camera only when the camera is connected. Some phones will still be able to use mobile data to connect to the internet. You’ll be able to connect to the internet using Wi-Fi after you disconnect from the camera.
Where do I view the photos and videos I recorded using the camera?
- 360°photos and videos can be viewed in the camera app. Move your finger on the screen or move your device around to change viewing angles.
How do I take photos and record videos?
- Turn the camera on and press the Shutter/OK button to start recording a video or take a photo. Use the camera app to switch between modes and adjust settings.
When do I use the Camera?
- Anytime. For example, you can record a 2K sports event video at 60fps; a 4K HD video at 30fps; or adjust ISO, exposure,and white balance to record a video in low light.
Why can’t I record videos or take photos?
- Make sure you’ve installed the microSD card properly.
- Check the compatibility chart to make sure your microSD card is compatible with the camera.
What advanced camera settings are available?
- You can use the camera app to adjust shutter speed, white balance, ISO, and exposure manually.
Why is the camera heating after a short period of use?
- The Camera uses its metal frame to cool down. That’s why the frame may feel hot while you’re using the camera.Metal cools down the camera more efficiently than plastic, and it takes less time for it to return to the regular temperature once you’re done recording.
What power adapters should I use?
- The Camera supports Quick Charge 2.0,use Quick Charge 2.0 compatible adapters to charge the camera faster.
- You can also use 5V/2A adapters. In this case, charging will take a bit longer.
- The camera’s input voltage is 100-240V 50/60Hz.
How fast is the charging? What can I do with a full charge?
- If you’re using a Quick Charge 2.0 compatible adapter or a 5V/2A adapter, it will take about 30 minutes to charge the camera by 50%, and 50 minutes to get to 90%. Full charge takes around 70 minutes (or 2 hours with 5V/1A adapters).
- When your camera is fully charged, you can record up to 75 minutes of HD videos while connected to Wi-Fi (or up to 90 minutes with Wi-Fi off), take 200 HD photos, or get 5 hours of standby.
What’s the battery’s life span? How many charges can I make?
- You can fully charge and discharge the battery up to 500 times.
Can I use a power bank to charge the camera?
- Sure.
Why did my camera turn off automatically?
- Make sure the camera is charged.
- You may have turned on the “Auto turn off” feature in the app.
- Try restoring factory defaults in the app.
- Download and Install all the updates available.
Why do I see lines/artefacts on my photos and videos?
- Wipe the camera’s lens with a dry cloth.Lines and artefacts may appear when the lens isn’t clean.
- Drastically different amount of light
entering the two lenses may also lead to lines and artefacts. To avoid this,try to minimize the difference between the light sources for each lense.
Is the camera waterproof?
- The Camera passed our controlled lab tests which showed that it meets the IP67 standard. It means that your camera is protected from dust and the effects of immersion in water to depth up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
The two lenses are sticking out of the camera body. They must be easy to scratch?
- The lens surface of the Camera
went through hardness-enhancing, anti-fog, and anti-scratch processes which
allowed us to place it at 8 in the Mohs scale of hardness. That’s suitable for
most usage scenarios.
What is the camera’s operating temperature range?
- -10˚C to 45˚C. When the
camera is used under low temperatures, it will heat itself up, and the battery
life will decrease.
